The much anticipated APSC CCE final result was released on January 17th, 2024, marking the end of a rigorous selection process that included interviews for 913 positions between November 16th, 2023, and January 3rd, 2024. The outcome revealed a cohort of accomplished individuals, with 86 candidates securing positions as Assam Civil Service (Jr. Grade), 65 as Assam Police Service (Jr. Grade), 3 as Labour Officers, and 8 as Superintendents of Taxes. Additionally, 20 candidates joined the Assam Finance Service, 45 became Block Development Officers, 26 emerged as Inspectors of Taxes, and 77 excelled as Assistant Audit Officers, while a significant 415 candidates achieved success as Assistant Accounts Officers.

• Step 2: Click on the final result tab under the important link section.
• Step 3: Now select the year 2024 and look for “Final Result of CCE-2022.“.
• Step 4: Now click on “Final Result of CCE-2022” and download the PDF

The Combined Competitive Examination consists of two consecutive stages:

• The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
• The Main Examination (Written and Interview)

Preliminary examination

The preliminary examination will be divided into two separate 2-hour papers with objective-type multiple-choice questions.

• This paper is of a qualifying nature.
• There will be negative marking for incorrect answers, as detailed below:
  • (i) There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. One-fourth of the total mark assigned to one question will be deducted for the wrong answer marked by the candidate.
  • (ii) If a candidate marks more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct.
• Paper II of the C.C. (Prelim) Examination is a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.

MAIN examination

The main examination consists of two stages

• Written examination and
• Interview or personality test.

Interview

Candidates will be invited for interviews in a ratio of 1:3 to the number of openings announced based on the results of the written portion of the Main Examination.
