Educational qualification
All positions require a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can apply, but they must have the essential qualifications by the cut-off date of August 1, 2024.
For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police for male candidates only: To be eligible for the position of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police, male candidates must have a valid LMV (motorbike and car) driving licence on the day set for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT).

The age reckoning deadline is August 1, 2023, as per DoP&T OM No. 14017/70/87-Estt. (RR) dated July 14, 1988. The age limit for the positions is 20–25 years, which means that candidates must have been born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2004.
